Terms and conditions

Last updated: 1 August 2026

These terms apply to all hairdressing services performed on the premises of Kurzhaar Kiosk.

§ 1 Scope

These general terms and conditions apply to all contracts between Kurzhaar Kiosk, proprietor Emre Yıldırım, Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße 288, 47166 Duisburg-Hamborn (“Kurzhaar Kiosk”), and its customers.

Differing terms proposed by the customer do not become part of the contract unless we expressly agree to them in writing.

§ 2 Formation of the contract; no appointments

Kurzhaar Kiosk works exclusively without appointments. Reserving, pre-booking or otherwise securing a time slot is not possible by telephone, through this website, or by any other means.

Customers are served in the order of the paper numbers drawn in the shop. The contract for the hairdressing service is formed when the customer, having had their number called, takes a seat in the chair and states the service required.

Any indication of the typical waiting time on this website is a non-binding average and creates no entitlement to be served within any particular period.

§ 3 Services and prices

The price board displayed in the shop applies; it matches the price list on this website. All prices are final prices in euro and include statutory VAT.

No surcharges are levied, in particular none for hair length, hair density, weekend days, card payment or additional time taken. Where a request cannot be met within the services offered, the customer is told before work begins.

Prices are subject to change. The board displayed in the shop at the time the service is performed always governs.

§ 4 Payment

Payment falls due at the counter immediately after the service has been performed. We accept cash, Girocard and the usual credit cards. No fee is charged for paying by card.

Payment on account or by instalments is not possible.

§ 5 The Stempelkarte (loyalty card)

Kurzhaar Kiosk operates a loyalty scheme in the form of a stamp card. Participation is voluntary and free of charge.

  • One stamp is given per completed, paid visit. At most one stamp is given per person per calendar day.
  • After ten stamps, a haircut to the value of €15.00 is performed free of charge. If the free service is put towards a more expensive service, the difference is payable.
  • The card is not transferable and cannot be issued to a third party. The card code is recorded against a name in the till book.
  • There is no entitlement to payment in cash. Offsetting against services already performed is excluded.
  • The card does not expire. If the digital card is lost, the count can be restored from the till book using the card code; without the code, restoration is only possible to a limited extent.
  • Kurzhaar Kiosk reserves the right to end the loyalty scheme on three months’ notice. Stamps already collected remain redeemable within that period.

§ 6 The customer’s obligations

Before work begins, the customer must inform us unprompted of any contagious skin condition, open wound in the area to be worked on, head lice, or known allergy or intolerance.

Children under the age of twelve may only be served in the company of a parent, guardian or a person appointed by them.

Kurzhaar Kiosk may decline to perform the service where doing so is not justifiable on hygiene grounds or because of evident intoxication.

§ 7 Warranty and rework

Complaints should be raised in the shop as soon as possible after the service, and at the latest within seven calendar days.

Where a complaint is justified, the work is put right free of charge. If the rework fails, the customer may reduce the price or withdraw from the contract. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

No particular styling outcome is owed where it depends on the individual hair structure, growth pattern or head shape and the customer was told so before work began.

§ 8 Liability

Kurzhaar Kiosk is liable without limitation for damage arising from injury to life, body or health, and for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

In the case of slightly negligent breach of a material contractual obligation, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract. Liability is otherwise excluded.

Liability for coats and valuables left on the premises arises only in cases of intent or gross negligence. Valuables should be kept on the person.

§ 9 House rules

Smoking and vaping are prohibited on the premises. Animals may not be brought in, with the exception of assistance dogs.

Kurzhaar Kiosk exercises the right of domicile and may refuse service to anyone who substantially disrupts the running of the shop or the other people waiting.

§ 10 No right of withdrawal

Contracts for hairdressing services are formed exclusively with both parties physically present on the premises. They are neither distance contracts nor contracts concluded away from business premises within the meaning of §§ 312b, 312c of the German Civil Code.

There is therefore no consumer right of withdrawal. No goods and no vouchers are sold through this website, and no payments are accepted through it.

§ 11 Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).

§ 12 Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which the consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected.

Should any provision of these terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.

These terms are dated 1 August 2026.
